Festival of Music and Art at Vinet Park
Firebrand performer Dawn Tyler Watson headlines a line-up of exciting Montreal performers to hit the stage on Saturday, September 10, at Vinet Park for the Festival Vivre Ensemble, a day of music and art staged by Youth In Motion.
Also performing will be West Can Folk Performers, Aldo Villani, Skipper Dean, Jah Cutta, Lengaia Salsabrava, Mellow G, Uprising, Bollywood Blast, The Nils, People Gospel Choir and the combined Union United Church Choir, Debopriya Kar Ruma, Les Rochers, Kola Mondir Nrittangon, Un Don en La Sangre, Tafsut, Bope, Friend of All The world, and many more.
Award winning performer Tyler Watson, who has come to be known far and wide as Montreal’s Queen of the Blues, brings a commanding presence to the event.
She is a four-time consecutive winner of the Quebec Lys Blues Award for Best Female Artist, and on two occasions walked away with the Canadian Maple Blues Award for Female Vocalist of the Year.
Festival Vivre Ensemble is geared to be a day of family fun for the over thirty ethnic groups that live in the area and will feature circus performances, children animation, face painting, sport activities, food kiosks and a photo exhibit of personalities in the South-West borough and a historical tent with DVD.
